Greetings -

Weird as it may sound, I've not wanted to write a second journal entry because I still passionately feel what I wrote the first time. But I suppose it's not much of a "journal" if I don't change it at least annually! Ergo, here I am. I tried using a journal skin, but, alas, I'm apparently not sufficiently css-savvy at this point. I'll work on it. :>(

Numerous things have happened in a year, of course. I retired from teaching and am now involved in what seems like a zillion other activities--*LOTS* of volunteering, some special-ed tutoring, some editing, and some writing. I also had the privilege of spending 6 weeks in Europe this summer and getting a fresh take on global connections.

I still think DeviantART is the best, the VERY BEST!! Once one has the basics (food, shelter, clothing, & at least one person who cares) (and not everyone does), what could be better than an absolutely humongous, worldwide, supportive group of artists of all stripes?!
